Today was a fun day building ramps. We used paper towel rolls and lots and lots of tape. Beforehand, we discussed what makes a ramp useful and how they need to be built. Then we went to work. We practiced our teamwork skills and built some pretty wonderful ramps. Then we tested them out with balls to see how well they worked. We are already looking forward to the lesson where we get to do this all again!!!

We have been continuing to learn about balls and how they move in our Einstein kit. Not only have we been testing balls such as; bouncy balls, ping pong balls, tennis balls etc. we have also been able to make our own balls! Here are some of our creations! We even got to enjoy the best type of balls of all, Chocolate Chip Cookie dough balls (don't worry, they were made without eggs)!!! Sophia made them for her homework and was kind enough to bring enough for everyone to share! Thanks, Sophia!
Dear Parents,
I am continuing to test your child for their end of the year guided reading level. If all goes planned, your child will have a new book at their tested level next week. Thank you for being patient the last couple weeks while I have been testing. For our April Family Projects, we made timelines of our first years in life. We started with when we were born and added many of our firsts that happened up until now. It was so cool to see everyone's adorable baby pictures and to see how we have all grown in 6 short years. Thank you families for doing such a wonderful job on them so we all could enjoy them! I hope you enjoyed creating them as much as I enjoyed looking at all your wonderful family memories. This ties in perfectly with our next unit in Social Studies on Changes Through Time.
We are having so much fun on the playground now that the weather is warmer! Check out how talented we are!
